Bulgaria has a temperate climate, with cold winters and long hot dry summers. Spring (April to mid-June) is a great time to visit. The days are getting longer, the weather is good, off-season rates still generally apply, and local beauty spots are not yet crowded by summertime visitors.

Summer (mid-June to early September) is ideal for the beaches on the Black Sea coast, temperatures can be very high during this period and local attractions are in full swing.

The ski season begins in mid-December and can last until April temperatures are ideal at this time to create perfect snow conditions, combined with the best ski resorts in Eastern Europe this is a truly fantastic time to see the country.
